The international round of Urban.Tech Moscow 2019 will be running 26 October till 10 November.

'Moscow has already joined top positions in innovation rankings (in particular, it was first in the UN e-government ranking in 2018), but we continue developing the capital’s digital infrastructure. We are holding the international round of Urban.Tech Moscow to bring together advanced solutions to the challenges Moscow is facing. We want to involve as many high-profile IT experts as possible in creating a comfortable environment for Moscow residents,' said Alexei Fursin, Head of the Moscow Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovations.

Developers, designers, marketing experts, managers and analysts are welcome to take part in the Urban.Tech Moscow 2019 International Round to take place in Prague, Tel Aviv, Riga, Yerevan, Minsk and Almaty. The winners will have an opportunity to visit Moscow innovative infrastructure sites as part of the road-show.

For Urban.Tech Moscow participants, it means a preparation for the competition for Moscow Mayor's 'Digital Transformation Leaders' prizes. The program includes not only an international round, but also building cross-functional project teams and generating ideas for the development of new digital services and products for different industries. As part of the program, 15 industry events will take place in Moscow, where developers will be able to build a team and finalise their ideas.

The teams are to develop a digital product to meet urgent issues in one of five areas, such as smart city, AI, finance, management systems and marketplaces.

10 winners will receive the  'Digital Transformation Leaders' prizes, one million roubles each.
