The UEFA European Football Championship on air in Gorky Park

The main award of the UEFA European Football Championship, Henri Delaunay Trophy, was presented in Gorky Park on May 24. This 8 kilo silver amphora will be presented to the winners of the competitions to be held from June 11 to July 11 this year in 11 cities of Europe.

The trophy tour through different countries started in April in Rome. In Moscow it was met by charges of the charity fund which helps children having injuries and musculoskeletal diseases.

The trophy was presented by David Trezeguet, a world champion and a European champion as a member of the French national team. The exhibition was visited by Aleksey Kondarantsev, Head of Moscow Department for Sports, Aleksey Sorokin, Director General of EURO 2020 Organizing Committee, Dmitri Sychev, bronze medalist of EURO 2008 and Pavel Trekhleb, Director of Gorky Park.

The park visitors could make a selfie with the Cup, try their strength on football simulators, see a copy of Saint Petersburg Stadium made of Lego, and get a Dmitri Sychev’s autograph.
