"VDNKh's area is more than 300 ha. The architectural and park complex appeals to engaging in sports and active recreation, with all the favourable conditions created. Come to ride bikes, scooters and segways, jog or enjoy crossfit workout. There are tennis courts with equipment for rent, volleyball, football and basketball grounds. Take your racket

Table tennis playing area has been equipped on Promyshlennosti Square, between Pavilions No. 57 (Russia Is My History park) and  Agriculture Pavilion No. 58. You may rent everything you need for training, including one of 14 tennis tables, net, rackets and balls. There is a badminton area next to the ground with shuttlecocks and rackets for rent.

Grounds are open 11:00 am till 09:00 pm on weekdays and 11:00 am till 10:00 pm on weekends and holidays. Sports equipment rental stops 30 minutes before closing time.

Play ping-pong or badminton at VDNKh for free, enjoy your daily 'happy hours' 11:00 am till 01:00 pm with all the sports equipment pledged.

In June, two boat stations are to open at VDNKh. On the 3rd Kamensky Pond, you can rent one of the 15 four-seater boats, with two-seater pedalos and canoes to be added later. Ten more four-seater boats will be available at Parkovy Pond located in Ostankino Park.

Breaking the waves

In June, on the 2nd Kamensky Pond located behind Physical Culture and Sport Pavilion No.27, a Wake Park is to be opened as well with required equipment available for rent on site.

Wakeboarding combines surfing and water skiing elements. Previously, boats were used for towing, but now a special design of moving mechanisms and cables operates. Due to this, wakeboarding is more accessible and more environmentally friendly now.

All summer long, the Wake Park coaches will teach beginners the sport basics.

Cycling fans will also be happy at VDNKh. Starting from 1 June, bike-sharing pavilion No.1 is to open to the right of the Central Alley.  It is easy to find, due to its unique cloud-like roof. Guests may take advantage of ready-made sightseeing routes observing unique pavilions on their way.

Strength and endurance

Park Arena CrossFit

Park Arena CrossFit gym is located in  Physical Culture and Sport Pavilion No. 27. Crossfit training sessions are carried out both with sports equipment and with your body weight. They are characterised by high intensity and are aimed at the development of strength and endurance. It will be of interest for both beginners and experienced athletes.

Park Arena CrossFit also offers gymnastics, rowing, jogging, cross-country skiing and a historical medieval combat club.

Fitness equipment

Picturesque Ostankino Park offers outdoor fitness equipment located along jogging tracks: parallel bars, horizontal bar, H-bar and wall-mounted ladder, double bench for abs workouts, parallel bars for abs workouts, arms exerciser. Workout fans will appreciate three advanced grounds with workout complexes located next to the stadium. Ostankino Park also boasts convenient bike lanes.

Ball games


Next to Michurinsky Garden, two fields with artificial grass and layout (40x20m) have already been hosting amateur football matches. There are 12 changing rooms with a shower and a toilet next to the ground complex. You may rent balls, cones for field's layout and training vests.

Big football

Fans of the most popular sport will have an opportunity to play at the real stadium with natural lawn located in Ostankino Park. You can use the field for free, but you need to have your football wear on and bring your ball. There are comfortable stands at the stadium for fans to watch football games.

Volleyball and basketball

In addition to the futsal fields, Michurinsky Garden has two multi-purpose grounds for volleyball and basketball, 15x18 m each. There are changing rooms to accommodate 12 people, provided with a shower and a toilet.  You may rent balls and team vests.

Street basketball and futsal

Next to Physical Culture and Sport Pavilion No. 27, there are two up-to-date outdoor basketball courts, and a futsal field, 40x20m, with a seamless rubber coating. There are also stands for fans.

Athletes may change under canopies. You may rent balls, cones for field's layout and training vests.
