Stepper bikes, electric power supplied bench, drift karts and more to rent in Moscow parks

This summer, parks of the Moscow Department of Culture offer unusual sports equipment for rent.  Olympic Village, 50-Letiya Oktyabrya and Fili parks offer their visitors a stepper (simulator) and bike hybrid. To drive it, you need to step on its wide pedals. Also, these recreation areas have tricycles, 3-wheel electric scooters.

"We invite citizens to spend hot summer days in our parks. To make your walk more entertaining, you may rent unusual vehicles,  such as a fantastar, a bench with big side wheels, to move slowly along Izmailovsky Park alleys. It looks like gyrosphere from the 'Jurassic World' film directed by Colin Trevorrow. It is an electric power supplied bench with a joystick. You may also take a ride on hoverboards, electric scooters and segways," said the Press Service of the Moscow City Park (Mosgorpark).

Fast driving fans may rent a drift kart in Lianozovsky Park. You are allowed to ride it throughout the recreation area. Eight more parks' sharing stations have tandem bikes for two people, with cyclists sitting one after another and pedalling together. Rent tandem bikes in Perovsky, Sadovniki, Kuzminki and other parks.

Children will like running bikes (bike without pedals) and ponycycles (small mechanical horses) in Tsaritsyno Museum Reserve, Park Pobedy on Poklonnaya Gora, Perovsky Park and Terletskaya Dubrava park. Ponycycles are also available in Olonetsky Proyezd public garden and Izmailovsky Park.

Most Moscow parks provide an opportunity to ride bicycles, scooters, bicycle cars, and to roller skate with small electric children's cars available in 12 recreation areas.

Summer season in Moscow parks launched on 1 May. Green areas boast diverse outdoor activities' infrastructure, including workout grounds, courts, football fields, jogging and cycling  tracks. Besides, Moscow parks also offer free sports, crafts and educational courses for adults. 

Learn foreign languages in Gorky Park and work out in Neskuchny Garden.  37 Moscow parks will hold yoga sessions under the guidance of 150 experienced certified coaches.  Eight Moscow parks will open children's camps

Water recreation areas have been arranged in 17 Moscow parks. Sunbathe near the water in Gorky Park, Sokolniki Park, Tsaritsyno Museum Reserve, Kuzminki Park and other green areas
