'Russian Fairy Tale. From Vasnetsov’s Time Until Present'. Tretyakov Gallery opens new exhibition

On 22 February, State Tretyakov Gallery opens a new exhibition project 'Russian Fairy Tale. From Vasnetsov’s Time Until Present'. It features a synthesis of fine arts, literature, multimedia technologies and theatrical scenery.

You will travel to the world of fairy tales and meet their characters. The project aims to introduce children and teenagers to the Russian folklore through immersion into an interactive environment using modern technology.

The exhibition includes works by Ivan Bilibin, Viktor Vasnetsov, Yelena Polenova, Mikhail Vrubel, as well as Vladislav Mamyshev-Monro, Rostan Tavasiyev and Blue Soup art group. View works from the holdings of the State Tretyakov Gallery, State Contemporary Art Centre, Moscow Museum of Modern Art, Money Museum, Cinema Museum, Nizhny Novgorod State Art Museum, Abramtsevo Museum Reserve and private collections.

The exhibition runs until 10 May 2020.
