Rubens, Dürer and Vignon: Shchusev State Museum of Architecture opens a new exhibition

On 6 December,  Shchusev State Museum of Architecture opens the exhibition 'Christmas Stories in the Western European Engravings of the 15th–19th Centuries'. Original old prints featuring bible stories will be on display. The exhibition includes works from private collections.

It will feature 32 engravings by western European masters of the 15th–19th centuries: Albrecht Dürer, Francesco Parmigianino, Hendrik Goltzius, Peter Paul Rubens, Gustave Doré, Claude Vignon and others. Besides, the exhibition presents unknown authors of the 15th and early 16th century from the Netherlands and France. Many engravings will be displayed for the first time.

The exhibition runs until 26 January.
