“Re: City. Life in a New Era": Moscow Urban Fest is online this year

June 27

From July 1 to 4, the Moscow Urban Forum will be held in Zaryadye Park. In parallel with the business program, offline access to which will be limited, the Moscow Urban Fest festival will be held. This summer it will be held online. Lectures of famous speakers, discussions and roundtables will be shown live. The broadcasts will be available on the forum's website.

"Due to the current epidemiological situation, we cannot risk the most important thing - the Muscovites health. Therefore, we decided to conduct our festival in online format," Arina Drobina, Director of Moscow Urban Fest, said. “During the week, we have reformatted all offline activities: we agreed with the speakers about broadcasts, slightly changed the program, managed to redo remote training and designed an online platform."

This year's festival will be dedicated to urban transformations, new formats of working conditions and recreation, the ability of the urban milieu to adapt to changes. The educational, cultural and entertainment program is based on the theme "Re: the City. Life in a New Era". Participants will analyze the reasons for the association with a particular city, discuss the flexibility and adaptability of modern megapolises, the environmental situation and ways to sustainable development, as well as learn how to create timeless urban spaces.

All events will be accessible for viewing free of charge by pre-registration.
