New routes to the Defender of the Fatherland Day have appeared on the Russpass service

Russpass digital travel service invites for a tour of places of military glory in Moscow dedicated to the Defender of the Fatherland Day. Users will have access to a selection of museums of military history of Moscow, as well as advices on spending a holiday in Crimea.

The route named History of Great Victories includes the landmarks of Moscow and the Moscow Oblast: Patriot Park, the State Museum of the Defense of Moscow, Victory Park on Poklonnaya Gora and the Museum of the Great Patriotic War of 1812. Thematic areas, military hardware exhibitions and excursions are available for visitors which may be of interest both for the adult audience and younger visitors.

Besides, on the eve of the holiday, a collection of Moscow Military Museums was published on the service. The collection covers seven museums of the capital city which include large memorial sites and unusual expositions. The Victory Museum on Poklonnaya Gora, for one, features a new exposition named The feat of the people. Here visitors can learn interesting facts about the history of Russia, play around with interactive maps and listen to radio announcements by the Soviet Information Bureau studio voiced by the announcer Yuri Levitan.

Sea lovers are offered to attend the Museum of History of the Russian Navy and explore one of the most popular exhibits - the 90-meter diesel submarine B-396 Komsomolets of Novosibirsk. There visitors will find out more about living conditions of submariners and will be allowed to sit in the workplace of the navigator.

Apart from advises on spending a holiday in Moscow, Russpass shares ideas of vacation in the Republic of Crimea. The selection February 23: how to spend a holiday in Crimea provides information about which museums are worth visiting, where to ride a reconnaissance scout vehicle or take a parachute jump in one of the iconic places in the vicinity of Feodosia.

Russpass is a digital travel service that helps one plan an individual travel itinerary in Moscow and other cities of Russia. Here one can buy aircraft and rail tickets, book various excursions to museums and theaters, as well as learn about nice places to visit and helpful services. More than 1,100 travel options are available here including tours and exclusive travel itineraries.

Russpass service was spearheaded by the Moscow Government. The implementation of the project is supervised by the Moscow City Tourism Committee together with the Department of Information Technologies of the Moscow City.
