Moscow has been shortlisted for five awards of Europe's World Travel Awards 2021

Moscow has been nominated for five awards of the 28th World Travel Awards. Voting has begun. You can vote for Moscow until July 14.

"Moscow won key nominations in the World Travel Awards for two years in a row, in 2019 and 2020. Last year, Moscow was awarded both World's Leading City Destination 2020 and Europe's Leading City Destination 2020. It will host Grand Final Gala Ceremony 2021 as 2020 winner," Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of Moscow, said.

In 2021, Moscow is nominated as

Europe’s Leading City Destination;

Europe’s Leading Festival & Event Destination;

Europe’s Leading Heritage Destination;

Europe’s Leading Meeting & Conference Destination;

Europe’s Leading City Break Destination.

Moscow City Tourism Committee will contest for Europe's Leading City Tourist Board.

Europe Gala Ceremony 2021 is planned in Ufa, Russia, on September 15, 2021, and Grand Final Gala Ceremony 2021 will be held in Moscow late this year.

Established in 1993, World Travel Awards is recognised as the ultimate hallmark of industry excellence. The annual award is given in more than 100 categories to the most attractive cities for travelers, the best tour operators, airlines, resorts, hotels and other representatives of the industry.

Moscow won Europe's Leading Tourist Destination and Europe's Leading Heritage Destination in 2020.
