The Russpass Mag online magazine published a New Year's selection of travels across Russia. Readers are invited to spend holidays at Lake Baikal, celebrate Christmas in Moscow, visit the residence of Grandfather Frost and much more.

The selection contains tours and excursions in 28 regions of Russia. Among them are Moscow, St. Petersburg, Republic of Crimea, Kamchatka, Republic of Tatarstan and Tambov Region. One can choose short one-hour excursions or tours lasting from two to 12 days.

Some trips are designed for travelers who like extreme vacations. For example, in the tour program “New Year in the Elbrus region. Active tour "— a six-day trekking in Kabardino-Balkaria. Overcoming the snowy paths of the Elbrus region, tourists can admire the frozen waterfalls, swim in thermal springs, and taste real mineral water Narzan and cranberry pies baked by the locals.

There are also tours for families with children and lovers of cultural trips with visits to museums and national parks. Gastronomic tour “Delicious food of Udmurtia" will introduce travelers to the life of indigenous people, history and culture of the region and local cuisine. The route includes several cities at once: the capital of Udmurtia, Izhevsk, the ancient city of Sarapul on the Kama River and Votkinsk, birthplace of composer Pyotr Tchaikovsky. Tourists will taste the national dish —perepechi, find out why Udmurtia is competing for the title of the dumplings capital of Russia, and become an honored guest of a five-course merchant dinner cooked according to 19th century recipes.

The "Christmas Tale" tour invites to immerse into the ambience of Christmas Eve and go sledding in the homeland of Grandfather Frost — Veliky Ustyug. The three-day tour includes a visit to the unique architectural monuments of the Russian North of the 17th - 19th centuries, learning horse harnessing, getting acquainted with traditional crafts of the Vologda region and having a souvenir made with own hands in memory of a fairytale journey.

In addition, the holiday summary contains information about skating rinks in Moscow parks.
