Tourism and travels

Moscow experts are currently developing Russpass, a smart digital travel platform, to make convenient travel routes around Moscow or compile a list of city services and attractions.

Russpass will include the key tourist locations. You can use it to buy tour, museum and theatre tickets. The travel package will also include a travel card.

All routes and tickets will be available in your Russpass account. You can use e-tickets to visit museums and theatres.

Before your trip to Moscow, you can choose a ready-made travel package for three, five or seven days with free access to all regional Moscow museums or make your own travel plan. The app displays the final route with the sites to visit.

After the simplified visa procedure is introduced, the visa will be included in the basic travel package. At the airports and partner points, tourists will receive an envelope with a Russpass medium, a travel card, a city map and an information leaflet.

The platform will have desktop and mobile versions. In case of emergency, the user can contact the 24/7 call centre or a support chat.

Tourists can use Russpass' unique features to customise additional services to be shown on the route map.

The platform can also help plan a trip to St. Petersburg or the Far Eastern Federal district.

Russpass will be helpful both for tourists and Moscow residents to learn about interesting events taking place in Moscow, and buy e-tickets skipping lines at the box offices.

The platform is expected to test-run in Q1 2020. From July 2020, the feature set is to be expanded to book hotels and buy air tickets.
