Dances and stunts: Moscow to host the acrobatic rock'n'roll competition and the World Championship

On 23 November, the acrobatic rock'n'roll and boogie-woogie competitions and World Championship will take place in Moscow. Megasport Palace of Sports will choose the best in the disciplines 'M Class-Mixed: Men and Women', 'Boogie-Woogie: Men and Women' and 'Boogie-Woogie: Seniors'. Also, there will be a junior boogie-woogie competition.

Athletes from 14 countries will compete, namely Austria, Hungary, Germany, Italy, Norway, Russia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Finland, France, the Czech Republic, Switzerland and Sweden.

World Champions, three-time European Champions Darina Kozlova and Alexei Kondrashin, and World Cup winners Margarita Charkovskaya and Ivan Kudryashov will represent Russia in the most spectacular discipline with elements of flying acrobatics — 'M Class-Mixed'.

Moscow athletes Svetlana and Alexei Gavrilov, World and European Champions, will perform in the most difficult discipline — 'Main Class'. They will show the dance using spectacular choreographic and acrobatic elements.

Acrobatic rock'n'roll has been popularly accepted in Russia since 1986. This unique sport combines the beauty of dance and the complexity of acrobatic elements.

The competition starts at 10:30 am. Morning performances are free. From 05:00 pm, you will need a ticket. It costs RUB 150 to 500. Performances end at 09:00 pm.
