Starting 19 January, sole traders, their employees and self-employed individuals will be able to sign up for free COVID-19 jabs, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin wrote in his blog.
“Starting Tuesday, 19 January 2021, we will expand the scope of people eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine by including certain groups of working Moscow residents: sole traders, their employees and self-employed individuals. Local vaccination centres are open seven days a week,” the Mayor announced.
Currently, there are 100 vaccination centres set up at Moscow’s outpatient clinics, operating daily from 8 am to 8 pm.
Over 140,000 Moscow residents have already received the vaccine, 40 percent of them being senior citizens.
The large-scale COVID-19 vaccination campaign was launched in Moscow in early December, with efforts constantly taken to expand the scope of people eligible to receive the vaccine.
