Bolshaya Dmitrovka street and Petrovka street were connected by a new walking route

The main work on the comprehensive improvement of Dmitrovsky Lane are completed in Tverskoy District. It is located parallel to Stoleshnikov Lane and connects Bolshaya Dmitrovka street and Petrovka street, and it is 250 meters long.

Specialists of the municipal services complex removed wires to place them into the cable drainage system, laid an additional section of the drainage network and installed seven new storm grates.

Sidewalks were made 75 cm wider followed by optimizing of the road way width. Additionally, curb stones were installed and sidewalks were paved with tiles.

The road surface was renewed and additional parking spaces were created, including three for people with limited mobility. Five bike parks were arranged for cyclists.

Suspended lighting was replaced with antique-style lanterns, and benches, two navigation steles and trash cans were installed.

In total, about five thousand items will be put in order in Moscow this year. One of the most significant areas is the Balchug Island, where the landscaping is coming to the end. The territory will be divided into historical and modern zones, comfortable transport stop pavilions and benches, navigation steles and lighting poles will be installed. Also, the embankments will be equipped with view balconies, resembling the shape of the floating bridge in Zaryadye Park. In addition, about 600 trees and over 11 thousand shrubs will be planted. Moscow residents will be able to appreciate the new comfortable walking space by the City Day.
