Vaccination against coronavirus infection has begun in Moscow universities, Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Moscow Mayor for Social Development, said.

"We really want to make it convenient and comfortable for as many people as possible to get vaccination against coronavirus infection. To do this, we regularly update the list of vaccination points, and mobile teams vaccinate dwellers in public spaces. We see demand among universities students who would like to be vaccinated, but have not yet been vaccinated because of being busy. Therefore, we decided to organize vaccination against COVID-19 directly on the Moscow universities sites," the vice-mayor said.

According to Anastasia Rakova, out of 100 public and private higher education institutions to whom the corresponding offer have been sent, 21 have responded so far, and almost all of them have already started cooperation - for example, the Moscow State Linguistic University, the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, the Moscow Art Theater School, the Peoples Friendship University of Russia, the Moscow City Pedagogical University, the Moscow State Institute of International Affairs, and others. At the State University of Management, vaccination has already begun.

Also, the onsite vaccination will be held at the Moscow State University of Technology and Management, the ‘MEI’ National Research University, the Russian State University of Physical Culture, Sports, Youth and Tourism, the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, the Pirogov Medical University, the Russian Customs Academy, the Russian New University and the International Law Institute.

Mass vaccination against COVID-19 is taking place in Moscow. By previous appointment, anyone over the age of 18 can get a free vaccination against coronavirus infection in one of the 100 points on the basis of city polyclinics. You can get vaccinated without a previous appointment in public spaces where mobile teams work, as well as in the Healthy Moscow pavilions. The schedule of their work is published on mos.ru. In addition, you can get vaccinated in private medical clinics. The vaccine itself is free, you only need to pay for the services of the private clinic for the injection.
