About the festival
The Easter Gift Charity Festival will unite all pro-active Muscovites and guests in the capital for the ninth
time. The 2024 cultural program includes lectures, children’s workshops, open cookery shows and much more. There
will be traditional kindness lessons at the festival venues, while the headquarters and exchange sites will
reopen to collect gifts for the people taking part in the special military operation. The special, ‘Four-Legged
Friend’ educational project, much loved by past festival guests, will also take place. This time it won’t just
be in one venue, but in eight places at once. Participants will be invited to a dog training area, grooming
salon, a veterinary station and, of course, a chance to meet some furry friends who are just looking for a
forever home.

‘Four-Legged Friend’
For the first time this huge, charitable project will encompass eight festival venues at once.
Tsvetnoy Boulevard will remain the flagship site with seven additional district locations, where guests can visit
veterinary stations, meet dogs, and enjoy a themed lecture hall.
Flagship Site
The project’s flagship venue will once again become an attraction point for
animals and their caring owners. On Tsvetnoy Boulevard, festival goers will also have a chance to adopt
homeless animals from Moscow shelters, as well as to donate pet food and supplies for animals still waiting
to find a home. Festival guests, and their four-legged friends, are also encouraged to take advantage of
sessions with experienced dog handlers, attend lectures on canine psychology and dog education, games,
workshops, and visit a free veterinary station and grooming salon. Pre-registration is required to visit the
‘hairdresser’, which will open a little later. The vet is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Veterinary stations, lecture hall and work with dog handlers in the
districts
For the first time, the ‘Four-legged Friend’ project will be held at seven

and advice from a veterinary inspector.
Veterinary stations will also be on hand for guests and their pets. Specialist consultations, clinical examinations, rabies vaccinations (Rabican vaccine), claw clipping and ear cleaning are available to festival goers. Your pet can also be registered with the VetAS information system. It gives you access to an electronic appointment with a veterinarian, your pet’s outpatient card in your personal profile on mos.ru and other handy features. Veterinary station appointments are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cultural programme
A rich cultural programme will unfold at all charity festival venues. Creative and culinary master classes,
exciting theatre and musical performances, lessons in kindness from charitable foundations with help from the
Moscow Public Relations Committee, just some of the treats in store for guests.
Dear guests! Please note the rules for visiting the chalets where master classes will be held.
- Participation in creative master classes is limited to 15 guests while 12 can attend cookery master classes;
- Adults may participate, subject to availability;
- All master class places are ion a first-come, first-served basis;
- Pre-registration is required to attend culinary master classes at the fish market «Moscow on the Wave». Visit this site to register. If registered guests are delayed, other participants may be able to take part on a first-come, first-served basis.
Bright holiday in the temples
Church Parishioners and guests will dive into the atmosphere of light and joy over the coming days of Easter.
There will be performances by folk groups and instrumental bands for everyone to enjoy, as well as master
classes for children and adults. Participants will be able to try their hand at Easter-egg painting, and then
photograph their works of art.
Special projects
Moscow helps
Anyone who wishes may donate gifts for people involved in the special military operation and people living in the new territories. Volunteers will receive, sort and send gifts to young and adult recipients. The chalet accepts men’s gift sets, socks and hygiene products, adult and children’s books, confectionery, tea, children’s toys and board games. It’s important that all items are new, wrapped and labelled. Gifts can be enhanced with postcards bearing good wishes. To help all participants, the ‘Moscow Helps’ donation points are marked with brightly coloured branded flags.

‘Give and Get’ Exchange Fair
All festival guests of can take part in the ‘Give and Get’ Exchange Fair. You need to bring good quality but unwanted or give a second life to unneeded possessions brought by other people. Guests can bring books, clothes, shoes, sports equipment, toys, in fact anything useful or decorative. Give and receive!

A Million Prizes
«A Million Prizes» has gifts ready for people who take an active part in the «Active Citizen», «City of Tasks», «Electronic House» and «City of Ideas» city projects. Participants who have been notified by email can order an Easter souvenir from the Million Prizes website and collect it from a selected pavilion at the festival site.

Easter kindness trees
Unique art objects have «grown» in the city centre and districts with ‘trees of goodness’ bearing Easter eggs. Just take an egg from the tree, crack it open and inside you’ll find a leaf with a QR code, follow the link to the MOS.RU charity service page and make a donation to the fund.
