Yoko Ono. The sky is always clear

The Moscow Museum of Modern Art will present solo exhibition of Yoko Ono. This artist is one of the most important figure in conceptualism of 1960s, participant of Fluxus international movement that contributed in the development of performance, happening, and video art, while breaking the boundaries between the mediums. One of the key features of her art is her special attitude towards the viewer, who takes part in creating an art work. Creativity of Yoko Ono combines both methods of art trends of 1960s that withdrew figurativeness in favor of clear concepts and search of answers for ‘what art is’, and traditions of Eastern philosophy, like Zen Buddhism.
