Vladimir Gorbatovsky's photo exhibition in the Hermitage Garden

The Hermitage Garden is hosting Vladimir Gorbatovsky's photo exhibition.

The photos on display show the diversity of Russian landscapes, from the amber beaches of the Baltic Sea to Big Diomede Island in the Bering Strait, the Arctic Ocean and the snowy peaks of the Caucasus. You will see Lake Baikal, Kamchatka geysers, Manpupuner rocks, Sulak Canyon, rare animals, such as Persian leopard and blunt-nosed viper.

Vladimir Gorbatovsky, PhD in Biology, is a member of the Russian Geographical Society, photographer of the Central Information Bureau of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Russia. He has selected the best pictures he had taken for several years to display at the exhibition. The exhibition is dedicated to the Russian 'Ecology' project, prioritizing conservation of the unique abundance and diversity of Russian nature.
