The exhibition is dedicated to the travels of F.F. Bellingshausen and M.P. Lazarev — Russian navigators and discoverers of Antarctica.
Visitors will learn about geographical discoveries, about the life of the Spanish and Portuguese Navigator Fernand Magellan, who found the way from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean. Later the strait was named in honor of the navigator.
