'Hello, Pandas!' at the Moscow Zoo

'Hello, Pandas!' exhibition dedicated to the new Zoo inhabitants, the giant pandas, is to open at the Moscow Zoo. Male Ru Yi and female Ding Ding pandas have been brought for temporary keeping from the Chinese province of Sichuan within the international program for giant panda preservation, protection and research.

The exhibition is centred around the works by the honoured artist of Russia Irina Makoveeva. She depicts bamboo bears in their natural habitat. The artist observed them during her creative expeditions. The display also features drawings by the animal painters Vasily Vatagin, Alexei Komarov, and Sergei Nabutovsky.

The exhibition is open daily except Monday and Tuesday.
