New Tretyakov Gallery invites to exhibition ‘Feodor Zakharov. The Painting. To the 100th Anniversary of Birthday’. Visitors will see over 30 paintings created by the master between early 1950s and late 1980s. In addition, there will be presented photos and documents from the family archive, catalogs of solo exhibitions. The project partners are State Tretyakov Gallery, Simferopol Art Museum and private collectors. Feodor Zakharov (1919-1994) — recognized master of landscape and still life, successor to the traditions of Russian impressionism in painting of the second half of XX century. Main theme of the artist's works are Crimean landscapes — from the spacious foothills to the rocky sea coast, close streets and southern courtyards entwined with grapes. In his creative heritage, still life took a special place.
