Classical Music at Kuskovo Summer Festival

Kuskovo Museum Estate will host a traditional classical music festival.

It will open with a concert in honour of the 220th Alexander Pushkin's birth anniversary. The audience will hear excerpts from Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin opera.

In total, 20 concerts are to be held offering music by Franz Joseph Haydn, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Ludwig van Beethoven along with the works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Antonio Vivaldi, Gioachino Rossini, Niccolò Paganini and others. Guests will also enjoy waltz, tango, bossa nova and even rock music.

The unique interiors of Kuskovo Museum Estate, which has preserved the appearance of a country estate of the 18th century, create a special atmosphere to percept music of different eras and styles. A walk through the French Regular Park with its marble sculptures and ponds, the estate's main landmarks, will help to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city before the performance.

Concerts are to start at 06:00 pm on Sundays and at 07:00 pm on Thursdays. Tickets are available at Mosconcert's ticket office (4/2  Pushechnaya Street), at the Estate's ticket office and ticket operators.
